Job Description:

In the heart of Hackney, a ‘Good’ Secondary School are on the hunt for a Religious Studies Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract, directly employed via the school. The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Religious Studies Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Religious Studies department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects. The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff, alongside a 2 week October Half Term, and receiving x2 Secondary School of The Year Nominations. It’s an exciting time at the school!

Requirements:

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs

  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
