Job Description:

Religious Education Teacher position at an 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Islington, London. The school is renowned for supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results. Position starts January 2026 as a permanent, full-time contract.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Religious Education Teachers
Potential TLR opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
Must be able to work as part of a large team of Religious Education Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback

Nice to have:

Ambitious teacher keen to add value to expanding RE Department
Experience with KS3-KS5 teaching
Ability to inspire and motivate younger generation
