Job Description

Control the operation of the Load Haul fleet in accordance with planned production targets to ensure that customer requirements are met in a safe and efficient manner. To drive and continuously improve operational performance whilst complying with company SHE standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Work in a safe manner ensuring the Health & Safety standards adhered to
  • Ensure that all work activities are carried out in accordance with local safety systems and any unsafe behaviours are challenged
  • Inspect quarry faces and haul roads during each shift in accordance with Daily Inspection guidelines and make corrective actions for any defects found
  • Maintain operational outputs in accordance with Production plan & key performance indicators
  • Continually monitor and amend process to achieve relevant quality standards
  • Respond to internal / external demands for products or other requests that may require an alteration to the process
  • Maintain a good standard of general housekeeping in the mess room facilities and with the quarrying areas
  • Accurately capture and record Primary downtime outages
  • Support AQM during any RCA investigations
  • Report Safety defects or Near Hits to AQM
  • Attend daily meetings
  • Ensure teams timesheets are recorded accurately and signed off by individuals at the end of their working week
  • Maintain correct levels of manning required and manage hours within their teams
  • Capture daily performance figures and input data on to relevant spreadsheets.
