Relief Support Worker

• Support people with learning, physical and complex needs disabilities in a proactive and holistic manner
• Support people to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing, mentally, physically and emotionally
• Empower individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their life goals
• Provide support tailored to the individual client’s needs and wants, whilst encouraging independence and community engagement
• Support individuals to access work, education and social opportunities

• Minimum of 12 months previous care experience
• Commitment and values to make a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities
• Calm, resourceful, and energetic
• Highly motivated and hardworking
• Well-honed skills in positive communication and engagement
• Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users
• Willingness to embrace all aspects of the role including providing support with personal care and domestic tasks
• Willingness to work in a flexible manner, on a roster basis, including evenings and weekends
• Located in and eligible to work within the UK
• Must not require Sponsorship under the UKVI scheme
• Cannot have a Skilled Worker Visa
