As a Relief Plant Operative based in the Evesham/Tewkesbury Region, you will enjoy working in a ‘hands on’ practical position within a busy Concrete Plant environment alongside a close-knit group of colleagues. You’re not someone who likes to sit back and let others do the work for you; the more proactive you are in this role, the more you will get in return.

Job Responsibility:

  • Daily inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the concrete plant and equipment
  • Placing the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management

Responsible for managing development requirements and opportunities, in relation with the above performance evaluations.
  • Communicates regularly with all Operating Engineers regarding operating requirements, operating and procedural changes etc.
  • Authority to hire, dismiss, promote or demote any employees with duties as Stationary Engineer under the Chief Operating Engineer’s control or supervision.
  • Visually inspects TSSA regulated equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions, need for repair, adjustment or lubrication and coordinated the required work.
  • Authorize, approve and be responsible for all the maintenance, repairs or work performed with the above-mentioned equipment or in connection with that equipment.
