Job Description:

Relief Chef Manager role supporting primary schools in Epsom & Surrounding Areas. Part of Impact Food Group (IFG), an education catering company. The role involves cooking from scratch, managing a kitchen team, and ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Job Responsibility:

  • cooking from our amazing menu from scratch
  • Managing a full kitchen team, ordering produce
  • responsible for the health and safety
  • being financially accountable for the unit attaining its GP/COGs
  • Maintaining a high level of food safety and hygiene compliance
  • head up the team, making sure service runs smoothly and that all due diligence is adhered to

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
  • Technical Cooking Skills
  • Ability to work in challenging environments, while maintaining high standards
  • Organisational and administrative skills
  • Food hygiene and food preparation qualifications
  • Previous work history as a chef/ Chef manager in contract catering would be advantageous
  • Full valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
