Job Description

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Reliability Lab Technician in Peachtree City, GA, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform laboratory testing (electrical, mechanical, thermal, etc.) and issue test reports
  • Maintain a Laboratory Testing Schedule and estimate completion dates
  • Identify and implement new testing capabilities, including documenting standard procedures
  • Identify, perform, and document improvement activities to increase lab efficiencies
  • Help maintain the documentation needed to meet laboratory requirements for external certification of governing bodies (UL, NVLAP, ETL, etc.)

Requirements

  • Technical or High School Diploma, associate degree preferred
  • Exceptional electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • ability to do minor software programming a plus
  • Can read, interpret, and implement standard test requirements, reliability lab experience preferred
  • Capable of technical reporting
  • Excellent analytical thinking and time management skills with great attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

  • Minor software programming
