We are actively seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our factory located in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Incumbent will drive critical improvements and eliminate loses from a technical perspective. The role is a key contributor to stabilizing the reliability of the production lines in a factory in order to move from reactive to proactive, for development of technical teams, as well as launching of semi-autonomous teams to be successful. The Reliability Engineer role is critical to the development of our factories to World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses.
Job Responsibility:
Drive critical improvements and eliminate loses from a technical perspective
Key contributor to stabilizing the reliability of the production lines
Apply extensively the full range of Focused and Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service and Logistics
Populate the Cost Deployment pillar with data built up through application of the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code
Act as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of counter-measures
Responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line
Eliminate losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams
Eliminate Waste and Loss according to the UMS (Unilever Manufacturing System) prioritization process using AM, PM, FI and PD pillar tools and methodologies
Create Technical Standards to ensure process stability on the line
Train line crews on technical standards and restoration of basic conditions (Stability sustainability)
Identify and extend good practice to other lines
Ensure application and accuracy of MMP Code data
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field: mechanical, chemical, Electrical Engineering, etc.
A minimum of 0-2 years of combined engineering experience
Experience in statistical and process control tools
Experience in AM, PM, FI, PD, Quality and Logistics methods and tools
Nice to have:
2+ years of experience within continuous improvement
2+ years of FMCG/CPG industry experience
2+ years of experience supporting transformation/CapEx projects
Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field: mechanical, chemical, Electrical Engineering, etc.
Experience in statistical and process control tools
Experience in AM, PM, FI, PD, Quality and Logistics methods and tools
