This position provides reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets for a major global computer technology company. The role involves implementing strategic asset management plans, integrating existing systems, conducting reliability analyses, and developing maintenance strategies to meet performance measures. The Reliability Engineer works in full collaboration with JLL's Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE to optimize equipment uptime and prevent failures through data-driven approaches and root cause analysis.
Job Responsibility:
Integrating data from building automation systems, fault detection engines, maintenance programs, and capital planning processes to develop life-cycle analyses and repair vs. replacement recommendations
Creating and managing equipment preventative maintenance tasks for continuous improvement and PM optimization using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches
Conducting reliability studies, facility condition assessments, and equipment audits focused on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, and energy conservation
Performing root cause failure analysis of equipment failures and facilitating operational event investigations to identify corrective actions
Planning and executing predictive maintenance activities using vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis
Maintaining complete and accurate records within computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and developing key performance indicators for equipment reliability
Supporting commissioning activities for upgrade, renovation, and construction projects including PM job plans, maintainability reviews, and critical spares documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical preferred)
5-10 years of experience implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and condition-based/predictive maintenance methods
Experience operating building automation systems and energy management systems with thorough understanding of asset management and data analytics
Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Proven ability to read, comprehend, and apply information from technical manuals and reference materials
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written reports
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Certified Reliability Leader certification
Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional certification
Experience in critical environments such as data centers, laboratories, or manufacturing facilities
Experience with building automation systems and automated fault detection & diagnostics with integration of connected systems
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, Defect Elimination, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
