This is a great opportunity for an experienced Release Train engineer to work with an experienced team on key strategic projects for an enterprise organization. The Release Train Engineer will focus on various core systems and will lead and facilitate a complex Agile Release Train delivering against shared business objectives. This person will drive PI Planning and ART ceremonies and ART cadence working closely with a Product Manager and System Architect to enable predictable delivery and alignment. This person will also manage and escalate cross team dependencies, risks, and impediments across the ART. Requirements:
Must have 8+ years of Agile experience
Must have 2+ years SAFe Agile experience
Must have 1+ years’ experience as a release train engineer
SAFe RTE certification is preferred
Must be able to lead and facilitate a complex SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) delivering against shared business objectives
Must be able to drive PI Planning, ART ceremonies (ART Sync, System Demos, PO Sync, Inspect & Adapt), and ART cadence
Must be able to work closely with Product Manager and System Architect to enable predictable delivery and alignment
Must be able to manage and escalate cross team dependencies, risks, and impediments across the ART
Must be able to optimize flow of value using ART Kanban, metrics, and information radiators
Must be able to support Continuous Exploration and ART readiness through pre and post PI planning
Must be able to communicate ART status, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders
Must be able to drive continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt and ART health assessments
Must have the ability to understand the long‐term (“big picture”) and short‐term perspectives of situations
Must be able to understand and analyze enterprise-wide business drivers and determine corresponding impact
Must be a self-starter who can work independently but also with a team with little oversite
Must be able communicate with various IT teams as well as business stakeholders on occasion
