Job Description:

The Release Responsible - Scrum Master is responsible for managing all aspects of diverse projects which require technical knowledge and expertise. Uses project management tools including DBS (IT/Engineering/Scientific). Leads, coordinates and/or facilitates cross functional technical teams to achieve project goals in support of the company’s goals and annual operating plan. Tracks, communicates and reports on the issues and status updates for projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure focused, time‑boxed standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives while reinforcing Scrum principles and continuous improvement
  • Remove team impediments by proactively identifying blockers, coordinating with stakeholders, and protecting the team from unplanned work and distractions
  • Manage the end‑to‑end release lifecycle, coordinating activities across teams and environments to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Ensure release readiness by confirming acceptance criteria, testing completion, documentation updates, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and communicate release quality, drive root‑cause analysis, mitigate risk, and provide clear updates on status, timelines, and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics or equivalent with 8+ years of experience
  • Certified Scrum master with 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or Release Manager in an Agile environment
  • Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, HP ALM, Visual Studio, Perforce, GitHub and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Miro, Smartsheet or similar release automation tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills

Nice to have:

  • Software development or Software testing experience
  • Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry knowledge
  • GMP & regulatory environments
