Job Description

We are seeking a Release Operations professional to support a fast-paced syndication organization responsible for coordinating platform, device, and firmware releases to external partners. This is not a Program Manager role, but requires strong multitasking, organization, and release coordination skills. The role involves close collaboration with internal release management teams and external partner teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-communicated releases. This is a long-term opportunity requiring someone who can quickly ramp up, manage daily deliverables, and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and monitor release schedules and technical activities across multiple teams
  • Create and maintain a daily release calendar covering activities from yesterday, today, and tomorrow
  • Review, open, and manage change tickets, ensuring accurate tracking through completion
  • Coordinate and edit release notes, including rewriting content to be partner-facing and validating detailed technical information
  • Act as a liaison between internal development teams, release management teams, and external syndication partners
  • Host and participate in business-to-business partner calls to review releases, timelines, and impacts
  • Support proposal and contract coordination by assisting with plans, specifications, schedules, and financial conditions
  • Ensure adherence to master plans, schedules, and established release processes
  • Identify release issues and develop solutions to keep work on track
  • Provide operational guidance and advisory support to cross-functional teams
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in release operations, release management, or a related coordination role
  • Experience working in complex, multi-team technical environments
  • Strong understanding of how releases roll out across platforms, devices, and firmware
  • Hands-on experience with: ServiceNow
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Proven ability to manage daily, time-sensitive deliverables from start to finish
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including partner-facing communications
  • Experience supporting business-to-business interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and pivot quickly as priorities change
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
