The RE Relationship Manager is a seasoned professional role that integrates subject matter expertise to manage relationships, structure solutions, and contribute to business development, providing banking and financial advice to clients while ensuring compliance and addressing risks.
Job Responsibility:
Calls on clients to deepen relationships
proactively owns, responds to, uncovers and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations
serves as clients' contact point and manages internal departments to address customer service
introduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening portfolio
works with product specialists to structure innovative and customized solutions
ensures compliance deliverables
identifies cross-sell opportunities
drives innovation in client solutions
supports Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals
maximizes client experience with market updates and trends
researches and identifies prospective clients
networks with clients to identify new business opportunities
prepares new transaction submissions and annual reviews
protects Citi’s assets and reputation
ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies
assesses risk in business decisions.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience
sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process
track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients
core credit skills
intermediate level of Early Warning Detection skills
ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process
gather and maintain credit documentation and monitor accounts
advanced understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling and statement analysis
ability to work effectively in team setting
excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
a self-starter with positive/can-do approach
embraces changes and is bold
high level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
highly focused on priorities
passion for creating new business opportunities
innovative approaches to meeting clients’ needs
