A well-established, independent RIA firm with ~$500M in AUM is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their collaborative, tight-knit team in the East Bay. You'll support Senior Advisors in all aspects of financial planning and wealth management. This role requires a proficient knowledge of financial planning principles, a history of client relationship management, and a capacity to multitask in a busy environment.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with the business development team to onboard new households and ensure a smooth transition of assets to the firm
Guide clients through account establishment, asset transfers, and related service requests
Execute distribution transactions, including monitoring and facilitating Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and tracking annual obligations
Liaise with custodial partners to complete account maintenance and servicing tasks
Escalate client matters to appropriate internal stakeholders and maintain thorough documentation of all interactions
Coordinate client meetings and investment review sessions for the Advisor
Maintain accurate and detailed client records within the CRM platform
Support client appreciation events and assist with special initiatives as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
2–3 years of experience within financial services, preferably in a client-facing capacity
Series 65 license preferred but not mandatory
Working knowledge of taxable and tax-advantaged account structures and their applications
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also operating independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
