Job Description:

The Mid-Corp Relationship Manager role involves deepening client relationships, managing credit risk, customizing financial solutions, and pursuing new business opportunities in the Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) segment. This developing professional role requires a solid understanding of commercial banking products, financial acumen, leadership, and strong organizational skills while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deepens client relationships by proactively addressing needs, anticipating challenges, and leveraging internal resources
  • Resolves portfolio issues to enhance client satisfaction
  • Collaborates with team members to structure tailored solutions meeting client needs
  • Drives innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further developing our business where necessary and appropriate
  • Identifies and pursues new clients aligned with CCB's value proposition and increases share of wallet with existing clients
  • Protects Citi's assets and reputation by managing credit risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation
  • Drives compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Adheres to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
  • Escalates, manages and reports control issues with transparency.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience/exposure covering Energy/Commodities/Manufacturing/Metals & Mining/ Chemical/ Shipping and Transportation
  • Solid understanding of commercial banking products and processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of credit skills, early warning detection, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and demonstrate leadership with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for developing new business, innovative problem-solving, and a commitment to client service
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
