To act as a trusted advisor for Priority and Priority Private clients, driving the growth of the Malaysian segment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio, delivering sophisticated wealth solutions while upholding the highest standards of local regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage an active portfolio of clients, ensuring high retention and increasing the 'Wallet Share' through strategic cross-selling
Propose comprehensive solutions across Unit Trusts, Retail Bonds, Structured Products, Dual Currency Investments (DCI), and Bancassurance
Actively acquire new high-value clients through personal networking and the bank’s ecosystem
Work closely with the Mortgage and SME teams to migrate high-value business owners into Priority Banking
Ensure all sales processes comply with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Securities Commission (SC) guidelines
Conduct proper Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to protect the bank and the client
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of success in a wealth management or private banking role within the Malaysian market
Strong understanding of the Capital Markets and Services Act (CMSA) and local market dynamics
IPPC (Investor Protection Professional Certification): Mandatory for advising on and selling non-complex and complex investment products
