Job Responsibility
Develop and enhance relationships with a portfolio of UK Corporate Bank clients operating in the Financial Services sector
Foster proactive collaboration with teams such as Large Corporate Lending, M&A, Trade and Working Capital, Risk Solutions, Payments & Cash Management and the Private Bank to win new business and deliver consistently excellent outcomes for clients
Play a leading role in developing and executing UK Corporate Bank's strategy for Financial Services sector clients
Represent Barclays to external and internal stakeholders and contribute to a sector focused marketing strategy
Act as First Line of Defence in line with the Bank's risk management framework
Management of client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance
Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment
Design of customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives
Communication of the value proposition of proposed solutions
Provision of guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, risk management and wealth management strategies
Assessment of financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships
Documentation of all client interactions, transactions, and agreements
Monitoring of client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics
Execution of market research and analysis to support the identification of potential new opportunities
Requirements
Coverage Mindset: Proven track record in developing client account plans and identifying opportunities to meet clients' current and evolving needs for the Bank's products and services
Sector Focus: Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Financial Services businesses, and a demonstrable track record of providing innovative solutions to support clients' sustainable growth
Market presence: Able build a strong sector-focused network across clients, prospective clients, advisors and industry bodies
Financial Skills: Strong financial analysis skills with the capability to teach and coach others
Risk Management: Ability to anticipate and identify risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
