Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker for the National Branch Network. This role involves building customer relationships, assessing financial needs, offering banking products and services, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build relationships with customers and understand their needs
  • Identify opportunities for Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
  • Analyze business challenges for emerging affluent and high-value customers
  • Present recommendations for resolving customer inquiries and service requests
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits
  • Create follow-up plans and scheduled customer contacts
  • Provide information to enhance customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
  • Partner with financial advisors for investment/retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or recognized equivalents)
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Customer service focus with multi-system transaction experience
  • Proactive relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of book of business processes
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
  • Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • High motivation with team and individual performance focus
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
  • Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
  • Business acumen for financial services consultation
  • Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to educate customers on mobile banking technology
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
