Job Description:

Relationship Banker position in Wells Fargo's National Branch Network, part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Responsible for building customer relationships, offering full range of banking products, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building relationships with customers
  • Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
  • Analyze tactical business challenges for emerging affluent and high-value customers
  • Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits
  • Provide information to internal partners to enhance customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
  • Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Customer service focus with multi-system transaction experience
  • Proficient in sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of book of business processes
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
  • Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • High motivation to meet team objectives
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
  • Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products
  • Business acumen for financial services consultation
  • Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to educate customers on mobile banking technology
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
