Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves building customer relationships, offering banking products and services, and providing full-service banking experience to emerging affluent and high-value customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building relationships with customers
  • Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
  • Analyze tactical business challenges for full-service banking
  • Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits
  • Provide information to internal partners and external sources
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners
  • Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) is required or must be completed within a specified period
  • State Insurance license(s) are required and must be completed within a specified period
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Nice to have:

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of book of business processes
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
  • Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
  • Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
  • Business acumen for financial services consultation
  • Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to educate customers on technology and mobile banking
