Job Description:

Relationship Banker position with Wells Fargo's National Branch Network, part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Responsible for building customer relationships, assessing needs, offering banking products and services, and providing full-service banking experience.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in building relationships with customers
Identify opportunities for offering full range of Wells Fargo retail banking products
Analyze business challenges related to full-service banking
Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners and external sources
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
Partner with financial advisors for investment needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or equivalents) required or must be completed within specified period
For certain states, FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) examination required
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
SAFE registration at time of employment
Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements

Nice to have:

Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
Business acumen for financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on digital banking options
