Relationship Banker position at Wells Fargo's National Branch Network, part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Requires building customer relationships, assessing needs, offering banking products and services, and providing financial consultation.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in building relationships with customers
Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
Analyze tactical business challenges for full-service banking experience
Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners and external sources
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers
Requirements:
2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Customer service focus with multi-system transaction experience
Proactive relationship building skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products
Business acumen for financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on digital banking options
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Nice to have:
FINRA Series 65 examination (for specific states)
Experience using business acumen to provide financial services consultation to small business customers
