Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves building customer relationships, assessing needs, offering financial products and services, and providing excellent customer service in a branch banking environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building relationships with customers
  • Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
  • Analyze tactical business challenges for full-service banking
  • Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits
  • Provide information to internal partners to enhance customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
  • Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
  • Successful completion of FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or equivalents)

  • Knowledge of book of business processes

  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
  • Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
  • Business acumen for financial services consultation
  • Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to educate customers on technology and mobile banking
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
