Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. The role focuses on building customer relationships and offering Wells Fargo's retail banking deposit and credit products and services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building relationships with customers and spend time understanding required needs
  • Identify opportunities for offering a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services
  • Analyze business challenges related to banking for affluent and high-value customers
  • Present recommendations for resolving inquiries regarding accounts
  • Open and service accounts
  • Create follow-up plans and scheduled customer contacts
  • Provide information to internal partners and external sources
  • Connect customers with appropriate partners
  • Partner with financial advisors for customer investment or retirement needs
  • Educate and connect customers with digital banking options

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) must be completed within a specified period
  • State Insurance license(s) must be completed within a specified period
  • Successful licensing requirements for SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance and other regulatory requirements

Nice to have:

  • Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 6 and Series 63 examinations
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
