Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves building customer relationships, identifying banking product opportunities, analyzing business challenges, and providing comprehensive financial services to customers.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in building relationships with customers
Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
Analyze tactical business challenges for emerging affluent and high-value customers
Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners to enhance customer experience
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Customer service focus with multi-system transaction experience
Proactive relationship building skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
High motivation with team and individual performance focus
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products
Business acumen for financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on mobile banking technology
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Ability to work Saturdays
Adherence to sales practices risk management culture
FINRA registration and ongoing compliance
SAFE registration
Meeting financial responsibility and credit fitness standards

Nice to have:

Experience using business acumen to provide financial services consultation to small business customers
Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer lending products
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
