Job Description:

Relationship Banker position with Wells Fargo's National Branch Network, part of Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Responsible for building customer relationships, assessing needs, and offering appropriate banking products and services.

Job Responsibility:

Build relationships with customers and understand their needs
Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
Analyze business challenges related to full-service banking for emerging affluent customers
Present recommendations for resolving customer inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners to enhance customer experience
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers appropriately
Partner with financial advisors for customers with investment needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Customer service focus with multi-system transaction experience
Proactive relationship building skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
High motivation with ability to meet team and individual objectives
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
Business acumen for financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on mobile banking technology
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism

Nice to have:

Experience with small business customers
Knowledge of investment or retirement products
Digital banking expertise
FINRA Series 65 examination for specific states
