Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role involves building customer relationships, assessing needs, offering banking products and services, and providing excellent customer service in a branch banking environment.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in building relationships with customers
Identify opportunities for offering Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products
Analyze tactical business challenges for full-service banking experience
Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners and external sources
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers

Requirements:

2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or recognized equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
Compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
Meeting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator positions

Nice to have:

Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations
State Insurance license(s)
Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems
Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
Business acumen to provide financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on technology and mobile banking
