Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Employees who are not fully licensed at the time of hire will participate in the Branch Banking Licensed Banker licensing program as a Relationship Banker LP (SAFE). This position requires compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Participate in building relationships with customers
Identify opportunities for offering full range of Wells Fargo retail banking products
Analyze tactical business challenges for emerging affluent and high-value customers
Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests
Open and service accounts within authorized limits
Provide information to internal partners to enhance customer experience
Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers
Partner with financial advisors for investment or retirement needs
Provide self-service digital banking options to customers
Offer/negotiate terms for dwelling secured transactions (SAFE position)
Requirements:
2+ years of customer service experience
1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or recognized equivalents)
State Insurance license(s)
Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems
Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of book of business processes
Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative
Ability to make client calls and participate in sales development
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
Experience using business acumen to provide financial services consultation
Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
Ability to educate customers on digital banking options
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Adherence to sales practices risk management culture
Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 or completion within specified period
For certain states: FINRA Series 65 examination attempted within specified period
State Insurance license(s) completed within specified period
Meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
SAFE registration at time of employment
Meeting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
No Visa sponsorship eligibility
Nice to have:
