Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker responsible for building customer relationships, providing banking solutions, and analyzing the needs of affluent and high-value customers while ensuring compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and other requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in building relationships with customers and spend time understanding their needs
  • Identify opportunities for offering a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products and services based on customer needs
  • Analyze challenges related to a full-service banking experience for emerging affluent and high-value customers
  • Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests regarding accounts
  • Open and service accounts within authorized limits, create plans for follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers
  • Provide information to internal partners and external sources to enhance the customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to leverage partners and connect customers with appropriate resources
  • Partner with financial advisors to address investment or retirement needs
  • Provide self-service digital banking options to customers.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 1+ year of assessing and meeting the needs of customers or helping with issue resolution through work or military experience
  • 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • Adherence to Wells Fargo sales practices risk management culture
  • Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 exams required or must be completed within a specified timeframe
  • State Insurance license(s) required within a specified period of time
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • SAFE registration required at time of employment.

Nice to have:

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 exams (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems
  • Proficiency in proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of book of business processes to manage customer needs and grow business
  • Ability to make client calls and actively participate in the sales development process
  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience mentoring and peer-coaching
  • Experience assessing customer needs and recommending products/services
  • Knowledge of financial services consumer lending products
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to digital/mobile banking
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and employees.
