This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading regional hub as a Facultative Underwriter to drive portfolio growth and technical excellence across the Asian region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the strategic underwriting and development of specialized non-life portfolios across multiple regional markets
  • Manage risk accumulation and exposure control to ensure the long term profitability and sustainability of the business
  • Drive business development by cultivating and maintaining senior level relationships with regional intermediaries and partners
  • Formulate and implement underwriting guidelines and best practices to maintain high standards of quality control

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience handling reinsurance underwriting, ideally in Facultative (property, Casualty, Engineering, Construction)
  • Proven track record in managing complex negotiations and regional client portfolios
  • Strong academic background in a business related or quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in managing technical project groups and implementing strategic market initiatives
