Job Description:

About the role. You will: Take ownership of Sollers’ Reinsurance Competency, shaping its strategic direction and evolution. Act as a trusted advisor to clients during modernization and digital transformation initiatives in reinsurance. Co-create presales materials, value propositions, case studies and demos with Sales and Delivery. Represent Sollers as an Reinsurance Expert in client meetings, discovery sessions and workshops. Develop internal knowledge assets (frameworks, methodologies, accelerators) and contribute to capability growth. Support delivery teams in solution design, architecture validation and ensuring alignment with reinsurance best practices. Collaborate with other competences (Data, QA, Cloud etc.) to build integrated, end-to-end solutions. Mentor consultants and support the development of reinsurance expertise across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering reinsurance, finance, or risk-related technology projects within large insurers or reinsurers
  • Strong understanding of reinsurance processes: treaty & facultative handling, claims, accounting, reporting, and data flows
  • Minimum 3 years in roles such as Reinsurance Consultant, Solution Architect, Product Owner, Offering Lead or similar
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and integration scenarios for finance and reinsurance platforms
  • Good understanding of IT delivery, implementation methodologies and data management principles
  • Ability to translate reinsurance needs into solution concepts, process improvements and target operating models
  • Excellent communication skills, including comfort working with senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Reinsurance/Finance/Risk)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to build reinsurance-focused business cases and ROI justifications
  • Experience working in cross-functional agile teams and ability to operate independently when required
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to navigate evolving market trends
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills (at least C1 level)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of reinsurance platforms, reporting tools or accounting systems
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior colleagues
  • Practical understanding of reinsurance programs in large insurers or reinsurers
  • Exposure to cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Fluency in additional languages, preferably French or German
  • Good understanding of UK / DACH insurance markets and existing relations with senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting capability building within a reinsurance domain
