Job Description

Do you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team? If so, we have opportunities in our Reinstatement team. Reporting to the area Reinstatement Controller, you will be responsible for the permanent reinstatement of excavations in highways, footways and other hard paved areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Permanent reinstatement of excavations in highways, footways and other hard paved areas
  • Working in a two-person team carrying out small and large reinstatements
  • Asphalt and white top work in footways and carriageways
  • Repairing and replacing manhole frames and covers
  • Working some weekends and nightshifts

Requirements

  • Ability to operate small plant, eg, pedestrian rollers, disc cutters, trench rammers and plate compactors
  • Knowledge of material specifications and laying procedures
  • Some experience in blacktop reinstatement
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • 7.5t or 18t licence preferred
  • NRSWA streetworks accreditation preferred
  • 'Can-do' attitude, confident, driven, self-motivated, well-organised, great team player
