Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Reimbursement Manager to join our team at Baptist Southbank Plaza. In this role, you will manage the preparation and audit coordination of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also oversee reimbursement rate filings and appeals, support financial statement preparation and budgeting, and provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to reimbursement staff. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Medicare Cost Reporting and a solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement principles. Job Responsibility:

  • Working under the supervision of the Director of Reimbursement
  • Assisting in supervising, coaching and developing staff
  • Manages the preparation of the Medicare/Medicaid Cost Reports and coordinates the audit of cost report data
  • Prepares and submits all appropriate reimbursement rate filings and appeals for Medicare, Medicaid and CHAMPUS
  • Supports financial statement preparation and the budget process
  • Will supervise others in the department relative to daily project tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Financial Analysis Experience
  • Medicare Cost Reporting
