Job Description:

Registry rehab tech to assist PT, OT, and SLP. May be scheduled between rehab clinics within south chicagoland region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists with Delivery of Physical Therapy Services
  • Mobility Training
  • Assists with Group Treatment
  • Orients new staff to department safety procedures
  • Visually inspects clinic equipment regularly
  • Visually inspects the department daily for safety hazards
  • Coordinates with hospital safety officer for regular department safety inspections
  • Maintains inspection and monitoring logs for clinic equipment and refrigerators
  • Identifies opportunities to improve safety and infection control within the department
  • Independently monitors inventory of clinic supplies and orders as needed
  • Orders office supplies as requested by clerical staff
  • Monitors the supply of linens in the department
  • Orders capital and minor equipment as requested by the Director or Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of hospital based patient care experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient with windows based programs
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance

Nice to have:

  • Spanish speaking strongly preferred
  • Bilingual skills strongly preferred
