Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to support the testing efforts for our regulatory reporting applications. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Testing Team Lead, you will contribute to ensuring the quality and compliance of our regulatory submissions through the execution of test cases and the identification of defects.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in the execution of testing activities to verify the conformance of regulatory reports to applicable regulations, under the guidance of senior team members
Execute test plans and accurately document results
Identify and report defects with sufficient detail for investigation
Collaborate with technology teams to prepare test data and environments
Contribute to the team's understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on testing
Support senior testers in analyzing test results
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress
Learn about relevant financial regulations (e.g., CFTC Part 43/45, MiFID II, SFTR) and reporting requirements
Communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance Testing Team Lead and other team members regarding testing progress and issues
Follow established QA processes, standards, and guidelines
Provide support to senior QA testers in various testing activities

Requirements:

Relevant 8+ yrs of experience in regulatory reporting Quality Assurance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of software testing concepts is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude

Nice to have:

Internship or project experience in software testing or a related field
Basic knowledge of financial concepts
