Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting role is a senior management position within the Controllers Organization. The individual will drive implementation of regulatory reports to various constituencies based on local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization and will interact very closely with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi.

Job Responsibility:

Provide oversight to a team of senior team leads and influence collaboration across functional stakeholders
Monitor technology book of work associated with reports to identify challenges and issues
Direct the team to drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the regulatory reporting process
Serve as a key point of contact for technology and business partners pertaining to automation of regulatory reporting
Represent the firm in regulatory discussions and industry forums
Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm to provide updates on regulatory developments
Provide thought leadership to peers and program leaders on technology/system changes
Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control's structure

Requirements:

15+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
8-10+ years managerial experience
In-depth knowledge of financial systems with expertise in GAAP/SEC Reporting
Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Strategic mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks
Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA or MBA preferred
