Job Description:

Senior analyst position within the Controllers Organization reporting to Country Finance Officer, supporting preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies including local regulators, U.S. Federal Reserve, OCC based on applicable requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Support production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings to U.S. regulators
Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports
Support implementation of processes and controls to mitigate risk of inaccurate reporting
Collaborate with team to drive process improvements
Assist team during regulatory inquiries and examinations
Work on implementation of U.S. regulatory changes within reporting framework
Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain effective internal control structure
Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances
Understand Central Bank of Kuwait rules and regulations regarding regulatory reporting
Act as point of contact in Finance team for interaction with regulators
Support CFO on various franchise tasks
Coordinate balance sheet substantiation process

Requirements:

5+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
Foundational knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports (FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, Call Report, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15)
Familiarity with Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting and stress testing frameworks like CCAR
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex environment
Accounting framework experience
Basic knowledge of banking systems (e.g., Flexcube, TBS, Smart, LRR)
Basic knowledge of banking products and business, preferably corporate business
Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
