Job Description

This is a high-impact opportunity to play a key role in shaping and strengthening regulatory reporting within a growing banking environment. As the organization continues expanding its branch operations, this position offers the chance to build, refine, and influence reporting frameworks from the ground up. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, regulation, and data — partnering with senior stakeholders and regulators while helping ensure the integrity and scalability of critical reporting processes. The Finance function plays a central role in maintaining financial integrity, managing risk, and enabling informed decision-making across the business. The team collaborates closely across departments to support compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. We are seeking a Branch Regulatory Reporting Manager to oversee regulatory reporting activities for branch operations. This role combines technical regulatory expertise with strong data oversight to ensure all required reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review branch regulatory reports, including statistical returns and locally required filings, prior to submission
  • Support new branch launches by designing and implementing regulatory reporting processes
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, documentation standards, and change management procedures across both automated and manual reporting processes
  • Liaise with data owners and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies
  • Track, monitor, and escalate reporting issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Stay up to date on regulatory developments and assess their impact on reporting requirements
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial and regulatory reporting outputs
  • Maintain effective communication with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory reporting or compliance within a bank or similarly regulated financial institution
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical reporting frameworks and processes
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English and Spanish

Nice to have

  • Experience interacting directly with financial regulators
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems (e.g., Axiom or similar platforms)
  • Background in regulatory policy interpretation
  • Exposure to system implementations or technology-driven reporting change initiatives
