Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting role is an intermediate level position within the Controllers Organization that will report up through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The individual will support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies based on applicable requirements such as U.S. Regulatory and local regulatory reporting rules and instructions.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure accounting follows U.S. and local generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory accounting guidelines
Responsible for compliance with local tax laws and tax planning
Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax reporting requirements
Ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively
Work with regulators and statutory auditors
Ensure appropriate statutory audits and examinations are conducted
Participate in franchise or country related committees
Provide integrity of MIS to Management
Respond to internal and external inquiries
Relationship management with senior Finance and Risk Operation stakeholders
Drive change initiatives by regional finance

Requirements:

10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment
Sound technical knowledge on local regulator reporting guidelines
Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CPA or MBA preferred
Member of accounting body (CA/ACCA/ACMA)
