Job Responsibility

  • Analysing existing and new EU and UK Statutory Accounting, Capital Requirement, IFRS, RDARR, local financial regulatory reporting requirements in the context of Citi implementation, system functionality needed and preparing the pertaining comprehensive business requirements documentation
  • Analyse existing regulatory reporting processes and solutions
  • Analyse financial reporting data flow and data governance processes and solutions. Implement RDARR principles and rules in the financial reporting processes
  • Understand and analyse Citi Global Financial and Capital reporting processes, systems used, and controls applied. Analyse gap between global and local requirements, propose solutions to fill the gap
  • Prepare Financial and Regulatory reports and/or check (based on 4 eyes principles) financial and regulatory reports
  • Perform data quality remediation activities
  • Execute user testing cycles
  • Prepare documentation of new processes and user guides for new systems and maintains these documents
  • Liaise with multiple departments at Global, International and Legal Entity level at various levels of seniority to resolve issues
  • Own efficiency, data governance, system development initiatives, projects and deliver with full accountability
  • Ensure a sound change management process is in place and adhered to while proactively and effectively collaborating with stakeholders across Finance and Technology to achieve the targeted system development outcomes
  • Maintain a culture of transparency and effective escalation, with special regards to regulator or technology mandated projects
  • Provide support to CSC and country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in financial or risk regulatory reporting or system implementation roles
  • University/College degree in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics/Economics / Computer Sciences
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across a number of disciplines
  • Ability to pay attention to details and work to defined deadlines
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with COREP, Basel capital guidelines and capital markets is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle is an advantage
  • Familiarity with advanced data tools (e.g. Python, KNIME, SQL etc.) is an advantage
  • Self developed AI knowledge is an advantage (e.g. Copilot)
