Job Description:

Senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory & Financial analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. The objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a team or department to provide regulatory & Financial analysis and reporting
Develop reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial and regulatory reporting
Ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial and regulatory reporting
Ensuring accounting is in compliance with Local IFRS and Regulatory Reporting requirements
Build and maintain high level of engagement within the team
Identify, motivate, train and develop talent
Build strong relationships and interact with all levels in the organization

Requirements:

At least 10 years of work experience as a finance professional in either a bank, financial institution or accountancy firm with direct responsibility for reporting or audit work of financial institutions
Strong Regulatory Reporting experience
Familiar with HKMA (HK Monitoring Authority)
SFC (Securities & Futures Commission) reporting experience
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred
Strong understanding of Local Financial (IFRS) and Regulatory Reporting requirements
Excellent analytical background and skill sets to come up with meaningful business insights

Nice to have:

Chartered Accountant or CPA
Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts
Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Build and maintain relationships with Regulators & Auditors
