Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting Group Manager within Services Operations specializing in Investor Services is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals with a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function, including delivering a full range of services, policy formulation, planning, and resource management. Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills are required. Responsibilities include regulatory reporting, project management, talent development, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides non-financial regulatory reports across services products
  • communicates to executive management implications of existing regulation and develops potential responses
  • regulatory reporting project management ownership (business requirements, analysis, and testing)
  • interacts with senior bank and risk management colleagues as well as external stakeholders
  • initiates feedback sessions with internal clients
  • identifies and sponsors development opportunities for key individuals
  • influences organizational initiatives
  • ensures diverse talent pipeline
  • assesses risk when business decisions are made
  • supervises activities and analyzes new risk-related guidelines
  • participates in final report design to ensure regulatory compliance
  • assesses critical data elements and raises data concern remediation management when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • familiarity with regulatory landscape facing global banks
  • knowledge of regulatory reporting
  • experience from the business and/or technical area (custody, funds, agency and lending services expertise preferred)
  • previous experience in managing regulatory inspections and audits within financial services
  • proven relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across business, executive leadership, and key functional support areas
  • project management experience with ability to develop project plans and manage multiple large-scale projects
  • proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing.
