Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting Data Vice President is a senior-level professional responsible for managing and enhancing the reporting infrastructure of the Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) system. This role requires deep expertise in regulatory reporting, data governance, and control adherence. The analyst will ensure that RET reporting is aligned with application updates and meets evolving user requirements. This position involves cross-functional collaboration, strategic oversight, and hands-on execution of reporting and data transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain the RET system reporting layer
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support Regulatory Event Tracking
  • Monitor Data Control Requirement Matrices (DCRMs) and enhance RET adherence to control frameworks
  • Lead or support data transformation and migration activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Liaise with technology teams for system enhancements, data integration, and issue resolution
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify reporting needs, process improvements, and system enhancements
  • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs)
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting automation
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years in financial services or regulatory reporting roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and data governance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis
  • Proven ability to write clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Experience liaising effectively with technology teams and bridging the gap between business and IT
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree or relevant certification preferred
