This position is within the Market Settlements & Portfolio Valuation team within Credit & Business Operations, USA and Canada. The primary responsibilities include the timely and accurate processing of FERC, CFTC Dodd-Frank, EIA, CARB, and other regulatory reporting obligations for multiple business lines. Other responsibilities include providing support and participating in processing of ISO/RTO settlements, cash management, and month-end close activities.
Job Responsibility
Process data collection and submit timely and accurate reporting for EIA, EQR, and the like
Deal review and evaluation and timely and accurate processing of reporting for all Dodd-Frank reportable transactions
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and audits as needed
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reporting accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Collaborate with data owners to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual errors
Participate in month end reporting activities through proper valuation of all Back-Office settlement activities
Actively process invoicing for market settlements, including shadow settlements of ISO/RTO activities
Actively participate in deal validation and confirmation processing
Utilize the ETRM (Allegro) and Bid-To-Bill System (PCI) to manage settlements and shadow calculation activities
For the Enel trading group, assist in the management of cash positions with various counterparties and exchanges
Maintain positive working relationships not only within the Back-Office team, but also across the organization
Reconcile, as needed, postings of entries in the ETRM and SAP systems to ensure accurate and timely posting of company revenues
Manage audit and data requests in coordination with the accounting group
Partner with other departments to streamline and improve processes and procedures
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external counterparties
Provide support for projects as needed
Collaborate with various groups across the company to solve ad hoc problems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2+ years' experience in regulatory reporting for energy/power companies
Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience with large datasets and reporting – SQL, PowerBI
Detail oriented, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
