Job Description:

The Regulatory Reporting role is an analyst position within the Regulatory Operations Team. The team is responsible for oversight of day-to-day compliance for regulatory reporting completeness, accuracy, and timelines. The individual will support reporting to Debt Management Offices and will collaborate with other functions to ensure smooth processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversight of the Regulatory Reporting processes relating to the Primary Dealer Reporting Regulations
  • Review of trade, position and transaction reporting validation and reconciliation exceptions pertaining to trade / transaction data submitted to Debt Management Offices
  • Collaborate with the team and functions to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process
  • Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues
  • Support implementation of processes and controls to mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting
  • Assist the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations, delivering accurate information and analysis to aid regulatory reviews
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup and its clients
  • Investigation of issues arising from the Primary Dealer Reporting processes and escalation to management where appropriate
  • Extensive liaison with internal stakeholders across Businesses, Technology and Operations

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team
