Job Description

As part of the Finance team, you'll help shape Barclays' financial strategy through accounting, budgeting, financial forecasting, and analysis. Your expertise will support management, cash and debt management, and insurance, driving the financial health and success of the organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, assess and mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks
  • Assess effectiveness of internal control processes and governance framework
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities
  • Analyze and present regulatory data
  • Develop and implement training programmes on regulatory requirements
  • Communicate and liaise with regulatory bodies
  • Manage selection, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems

Requirements

  • Regulatory reporting experience either in UK or US regulatory reporting
  • MBA Finance/Economics Hons
  • Good knowledge on Basel 3/3.1 changes across risk types
  • Daily/Monthly/Quarterly monitoring of large exposure reporting
  • Good communication skills and will to work on shift

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Experience in Tableau / Alteryx or other automation tools
  • Good knowledge of Finance accounting, automation, and MI preparation

  • Previous experience within Regulatory Reporting, such as: EMIR/CFTC/MIFID, highly desirable
  • 3-4 years of previous financial services experience, within regulatory reporting / capital markets middle office / OTC derivative products, trade lifecycle
