Job Description:

The Regulatory Policy VP will play a key role in overseeing regulatory compliance and policy development within the banking sector. Based in Dublin City Centre, this position requires a strategic mindset and expertise in accounting and finance to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations (ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP, EBA/ ECB EU Stress Tests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain regulatory policies in line with industry standards and local requirements: crucially - ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP, EBA/ ECB EU Stress Tests
  • Advise senior management on regulatory developments and their impact on business strategies
  • Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations
  • Prepare and present regulatory reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and address inquiries or audits as required
  • Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape and assess their implications for the organisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed regulatory considerations into operational workflows
  • Provide training and updates to staff on regulatory policies and best practices

Requirements:

  • A strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field within a Capital Markets / Investment Bank
  • Ideally Accounting or Risk Qualified
  • Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and policy development
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to monitoring and adapting to regulatory changes
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and professional environment in Dublin
  • Individuals specifically coming from an Investment Bank or Capital Markets business
