In this role, you'll shape how we manage risk across our supplier network, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and ESG principles. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, lead transformation projects, and make a tangible impact on how we do business responsibly. An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the regulatory compliance and sustainability agenda within the Procurement TPRM function. This role is essential in ensuring that all third-party engagements comply with Irish and EU regulatory requirements and align with the Bank's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments!

Job Responsibility:

  • Shape Strategy & Governance
  • Support the Head of TPRM in developing and executing the TPRM strategy and roadmap
  • Maintain and enhance the governance framework to align with internal risk appetite and Irish/EU regulations
  • Lead Regulatory & ESG Integration
  • Horizon scan for regulatory and best practice developments, assessing impact and driving improvement projects
  • Integrate ESG criteria into third-party onboarding, due diligence, and monitoring processes
  • Ensure vendor adherence to sustainability policies and ethical sourcing standards
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability team to align vendor practices with ESG strategy and reporting obligations (CSRD, SFDR)
  • Drive Operational Excellence
  • Keep policies, standards, and procedures current and embedded across the organisation
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on effective in-lifecycle TPRM
  • Lead regulatory inspections and coordinate submissions to the Central Bank of Ireland and other authorities
  • Influence & Collaborate
  • Engage proactively with 2LOD & 3LOD colleagues to ensure alignment
  • Partner with Legal, IT Security, and Business Units for cohesive risk practices
  • Maintain the Register of Information for third-party engagements
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide coaching and performance management to build a high-performing team culture of accountability and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or sustainability within Irish or EU financial services
  • Solid understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks relevant to outsourcing and ESG
  • Experience working with the Central Bank of Ireland or other regulatory authorities
  • Proven experience in third-party risk management, procurement, or regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Irish/EU regulatory frameworks and ESG principles
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into practical solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
  • Passion for sustainability and responsible business practices
  • Qualification in Law, Risk, Compliance, Sustainability, or a related field
