Job Description:

This is a senior role within the Services Compliance & Regulatory Risk Team supporting the MEA cluster which will supplement Citi's Regulatory Ownership & Accountability Framework and support senior regional & global team members provide coverage for effective Regulation Compliance Risk Management.

Job Responsibility:

Perform end-to-end Regulatory Compliance Risk Management for MEA Services businesses through Regulatory Change Management
Assist with Regulatory applicability assessments for Sales & Product Businesses and related Risk & Control functions
Assist with Regulatory control identification/development and conduct Compliance adequacy assessments
Assist with timely identification and reporting of issues, escalations, emerging risks
Develop communication and governance material for presentation to various audiences
Liaise with stakeholders across multiple functions while establishing solid relationships
Driving innovative analysis and providing regular updates on management of risks and issues
Establish reporting standards to provide transparency for GAU Owners and Cluster and Country
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and streamline processes

Requirements:

Bachelor/Masters degree in law, Finance, Business Management or qualification in related discipline desired but not essential
Extensive experience in Regulatory Change Management, Implementation & on-going Governance for Financial Services Regulations
Knowledge of Services products including related control principles
Global mindset, with regional/product understanding
Committed to delivering results with exceptional execution skills
Exhibits high level of accountability and ownership ensuring timely issue resolution and continuous process improvement
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with Senior leaders, Cluster and Product managers and wider partner areas
Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities
Ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives
Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
Comfortable navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations
