Job Description

SRG is working with a leading household chemicals supplier in the Manchester area. Recently a new vacancy has opened for a regulatory officer to join a closeknit compliance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a chemicals background to develop their skills in chemical regulatory affairs. Applications welcome from junior chemists and more experienced regulatory professionals.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating and maintaining multilingual formulation and finished goods Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Setting up and managing new raw materials within SDS and regulatory software systems
  • Communicating regulatory requirements to NPD teams to ensure regional compliance, including CBAM, WEEE, and EPR
  • Supporting product lifecycles by monitoring and implementing regulatory changes as they arise
  • Collaborating within multifunctional teams to enable on-time product launches and providing ad hoc support to the Regulatory Specialist

Requirements

  • Degree qualification preferably in chemicals or a similar scientific discipline
  • Recent experience working with chemicals safety data sheets (SDS's)
  • Experience within regulatory administration
  • Knowledge of REACH, CLP and packaging regulations would be advantageous
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office
  • Full right to work in the UK
